01Who is responsible

02What data we process and why
Waitlist. If you sign up, we store your email, the language you want our emails in, your profile if you choose one (web design, SEO, agency or other), the page you signed up from and, if you came from a campaign, its tag. We also store the date, the exact text you agreed to and an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address (a hash from which the IP cannot be recovered).
We use them to confirm your email (we send you an activation link), to tell you when Smart Design Inspector launches and about a few important updates, to prove you gave your consent and to prevent abusive or automated sign-ups.
Browsing. The server hosting this website temporarily logs technical data for each visit (IP, browser, page requested) so it works and stays secure. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 measures visits in aggregate (pages viewed, where visitors come from, country and device type) so we know what works; if you don’t, it isn’t loaded. No advertising or third-party pixels, and fonts are served from our own server.
If you write to us. We use your email and message only to reply.
03Legal basis
The waitlist is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the box and confirming your email. You can withdraw it at any time.
Technical logs and anti-abuse measures are based on our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Analytics is based on your consent, which you give in the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time from “Cookie settings”.
04How long we keep it
If you don’t confirm your email, we delete your data after 30 days. If you do, we keep it until you unsubscribe.
When you unsubscribe we stop writing to you and keep only what is strictly needed to avoid writing again and to prove your consent while liability can still be claimed.
05Who processes it for us
We don’t sell or share your data. These providers process it on our behalf, under a data processing agreement:
- Vercel: hosting of the website and the form.
- Supabase: waitlist database, on servers in the European Union.
- MailerLite: sending our emails.
- Hostinger: server for our automated tasks (for example, deleting unconfirmed sign-ups).
- Google (Google Analytics): visit statistics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
Some of them are US companies or may access the data from the US. In that case, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
06Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, object to, restrict or port your data by writing to hey@smartbrainactivity.ai. To unsubscribe, just use the link at the bottom of every email.
If you think we haven’t handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or your local authority.
07Cookies and storage in your browser
Besides what is strictly needed to work (your cookie choice, the light or dark theme and the intro), this website only uses Google Analytics cookies if you accept them. Full details, with names and durations, are in the cookie policy.
08Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above and, if the change is significant, let you know by email if you are on the list.
